Hyundai Canada announces pricing for 2018 Elantra GT

The new 2018 Elantra GT completes the revolution of Hyundai’s compact car nameplate and enters the market competitively priced at $20,449.

The vehicle serves as Hyundai’s answer to rapidly elevating customer values and preferences toward technology, individuality in style, and flexibility in the highly competitive compact car segment. The Elantra GT is now available at Hyundai dealers across Canada.
The Elantra GT starts at $20,449. It features a 2.0L Direct Injection (GDI) four cylinder engine producing 162 horsepower and 150 lb-ft. of torque. This engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. As standard, the vehicle comes with an 8-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats and heated steering wheel, a segment exclusive and significant leap forward in standard equipment.
The Elantra GT Sport starts at $26,999. It is equipped with a 1.6L turbocharged GDI four cylinder engine producing 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. of torque. This powertrain is mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission with paddle shifters.
The Elantra GT will be the first Hyundai vehicle in Canada to offer BlueLink telematics service. BlueLink can be easily accessed from the buttons on the rear-view mirror, the web or via smartphone app and offers features like Remote Start with Climate Control, Local Search powered by Google, Remote Door Lock/Unlock, Find My Car and Enhanced Roadside Assistance. BlueLink is included in the Sport Ultimate trim and is activated for a 5-year term from date of purchase.
